  2. Thanks alot Ray!

  3. Maybe the best progress i’ve seen in Am!

  4. Awesome work!!! I love the use of 2D backgrounds, and your acting choices are great!!! I hope when I join AM I’ll be half as good! Can’t wait to see more!

  5. Hey Malcon. Great progress reel! Pretty cool your shot using Tailor, with the acorn and all, then getting to work on Ice Age with Scrat and the acorn. Almost like a premonition.

I just started at AM last week. So I’ll use your progress reel as inspiration. Have fun at Disney!!

  6. wow! just amazing work. how can i become a great animator like you? how many hours do you spend a week on an assignment? im still in class 1 malcon.. thanks for the tip.

    • Thanks for the comment!! The way I see it, you get back what you put in. So the harder you work, the bigger the payoff. As far as mow much time I spent on those assignments, probably not enough time! When I was working on my short I was probably working on it close to 30-40 hours a week. I wasn’t working at the time so that sort of became my job. Good luck with am! I’m sure I’ll talk to you again soon. Thanks again!

  7. Amazing! your demo reel, and each animation in this blog are incredible and very inspiring for me..
I really liked of your animation to 11 second club, I saw frame by frame, the moviment of character, poses and timing.. studing each thing.. So, I hope one day I animate like you.. who know soon I can study in animation mentor.. until that day arrives, I’ll keep studing by myself..
